How You Can Help
The community issue our nonprofit seeks to address in Southern Illinois is the growing number of pets that are lost, neglected, or abandoned, as well as the challenges many pet owners face in providing essential care & resources for their animals.
According to recent data, nearly 1 in 5 households in Southern Illinois live below the poverty line, and many of these families struggle to meet basic needs, including food & veterinary care for their pets.
This financial strain often results in pets being surrendered to shelters or left to wander, which significantly contributes to the region’s high rates of lost & abandoned animals.

These challenges not only affect the welfare of pets but also create emotional and financial hardship for families who are already struggling.
Our nonprofit aims to address these critical gaps by providing affordable microchipping, pet identification services, supporting lost pet recovery efforts, offering pet food assistance, and helping families cover emergency veterinary bills.
Through partnerships with local shelters, outreach programs, and volunteer-driven initiatives, we aim to reduce the number of lost pets, increase adoption rates, and ensure that all pets in Southern Illinois have the opportunity to live healthy, happy lives with their families.
